What exactly is a credit?+
In IELTS Speaking, one credit is one started minute of live conversation, rounded up. Each simulation shows its credit requirement before you begin.
How many credits does a Full Mock use?+
A Full Mock reserves up to 15 credits when it starts and settles on the minutes actually used. Whatever you don't use is released back to your balance.
Can I buy credits without a subscription?+
Yes. One-time top-ups of 15, 40, 100 credits are available — no subscription required. Top-up credits never expire.
What happens if I end a session early?+
A session holds its stated maximum while it runs, and whatever you don't use is released back to your balance when the session settles.
Do my credits expire?+
Monthly plan credits roll over one billing cycle, so what you don't use one month is still there the next. Top-up credits never expire.
Can I change or cancel my plan?+
You can cancel any time in the Stripe customer portal, from your billing settings. Cancelling stops future charges, and credits already granted remain usable until they expire. Switching directly between plans isn't available yet — cancel your current plan, then subscribe to the new one once the paid period ends.
Is the Pressure Test really free?+
Yes. It's a one-time IELTS-style trial of up to three minutes, covered by your account's introductory grant — no payment details needed.
Do my credits work across available simulations?+
Credits are UmberRook credits, not credits for any one simulator. As new simulations become available, the same balance applies.
